Navigating mental health challenges
If any of this resonates with you, then you’re in the right place.
I’m here to help you stop the chaos, take control, and protect everything you’ve built—before it’s too late.
Maybe a major business deal has collapsed, and the stress is taking a toll on your health and relationships.
Maybe your marriage is on the rocks, you are distant from your kids, you’re losing sleep, constantly anxious, and fearing that your career and personal life will crumble if things don’t change soon.
Whether it’s this or something else, either way you decide to partner with me amid this crisis.
We work through each step of The Crisis Cure, untangle the chaos and execute a customized precision plan – like stabilizing your business while also pivoting your strategy and to bring in a higher-value deal.
Once the immediate crisis is over, we’ll dig deeper to understand how you got here in the first place.
With both mindset and SE (social-emotional) coaching from me, we’ll repair the fractures in your connections with your spouse, your kids, your friends—and most importantly, yourself. Together, we’ll conduct a 360° analysis of your life to identify additional strategies, to prevent another crisis as you continue progressing in both the business world and your personal life.
All this comes together so that within just a few months, you’re not just surviving—you’re thriving.
Your career gets back on track, your marriage improves, you are genuinely connected to your kids, and you feel hopeful and excited about your life for the first time in a long time.
Because I’ve done it for myself. (More on this in just a bit.)
Along the way, I saw an urgent need for a new business model and a real opportunity to help people like me—who were left feeling lost and overwhelmed when shit hits the fan.
Why me?
My professional experience spans business leadership and expertise in psychological research and clinical work, giving me a unique perspective on guiding high-performing executives and business owners through their toughest challenges.
Professionally, I’ve built and scaled multiple businesses, including one that sold for a 10x multiple. So, unlike most coaches, I bring real-world business insight crucial for navigating high-stakes situations.
Plus, my pre-business background as a developmental psychologist – with expertise in social and emotional development, crisis counseling, and PTSD treatment – has equipped me to manage both the tactical and human complexities that always accompany a crisis.
With my background as both an entrepreneur and a psychologist, I uniquely understand the professional-personal intersection like few others can. This dual expertise is critical, especially for successful individuals, where the line between professional and personal life is often blurred.
But that’s not all. Just as importantly:
Personally, I’ve also faced and overcome incredible challenges from scaling businesses and navigating the fallout of my own MASSIVE legal and personal crisis.
So I’ve been in your shoes—facing high-stakes situations where every decision counts.
I emerged with practical knowledge, empathy, resilience, and insight to guide you through when your world feels like it’s falling apart, ensuring you retain your dignity and come out stronger.
I was professionally on top of my game—until I hit a massive roadblock:
A crisis of epic proportions.
Rewind to after I had earned my PhD in developmental psychology and completed my postdoc—my then-husband and I started an orthodontic practice. He was the doc, and I was the CEO.
Business ownership was perfect for me—I’m competitive AF, I LOVE building efficient systems, and I used my expertise in human behavior to scale our businesses.
Seven years later, we sold the practice for a 10x multiple. I used the proceeds to build other businesses in HealthTech, education, and real estate. Things were busy and exciting. I had just given birth to my second child and was finding my groove as a mom of two while working as a CEO and COO in two of my businesses.
Then, in a shocking turn of events, my entire world fell apart overnight:
My husband was arrested, unraveling every part of my life. The meritless charges and the media’s misinformation caused devastating consequences—filling me with legitimate fears for my safety, separating me from my businesses, and turning the community we had invested so much into against us.
But to my knowledge, that type of specific help didn’t exist.
So, instead, I spent over a year running from one professional to the next, trying to piece together solutions. As a result, I made poor decisions—like selling my house for a considerable loss—that led to catastrophic consequences and losing millions.
I was spinning my wheels, trying to manage everything alone.
That’s why I’m so passionate about what I do now.
I understand your situation.
I’ve been where you are.
Having learned the hard way, I help you avoid costly pitfalls and make strategic decisions for swift results— bypassing trial and error to contain the crisis faster.
Today, my life is more connected and fulfilling than ever. I wake up every day feeling confident, grounded, and surrounded by strong relationships.
But I didn’t get here by accident, just as you won’t get where you want by accident.
My approach to overcoming personal crisis combines proven strategies from psychology, neuroscience, human development and high-level business strategy to ensure you avoid wasting valuable time and resources. You’ll start feeling relief and regain control more quickly and effectively than you ever thought possible.
And here’s how we’ll do that…
Phase 1
First and foremost, we’ll focus on the immediate issue of resolving your crisis.
Having been through my own massive crisis—one that impacted my businesses, legal matters, finances, marriage, and nearly every other area of my life—I now know exactly what steps to take to navigate your crisis, no matter its scale.
Together, I’ll help you map out a step-by-step plan to get you out of your crisis ASAP while protecting you and everything you care about.
If needed, I’ll work to connect you with the right professionals—be it legal, PR, or others—ensuring you’re never left feeling unsure of what to do or who to trust.
All you need to do is focus on taking decisive action.
I’ll be with you every step of the way.
No matter what support you need, I’ll be here to guide you and give you feedback so you can quickly stop the fallout.
And along the way, we’ll also make sure your mindset stays strong so you’re able to pull through this crisis – as quickly and as strong as possible.
As a successful professional, you know that your mindset is key – especially in moments like this.
Research shows that acute stress leads to poor decision-making, but with the right tools, you can avoid this. Using my professional expertise and experience, I’ll also give you coaching and tips to help you get your brain out of stress mode and optimize your thinking—ensuring you make the smartest decisions for your future.
Phase 2
Even though we’ve stabilized your crisis and things are starting to get back on track, the journey isn’t over yet. The emotional impact of what you’ve been through still needs attention.
This phase is about navigating the journey from chaos to acceptance—from surviving the shitstorm to truly recovering. Depending on the intensity of your experience, we may explore advanced therapies like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) or even psychedelic-assisted treatments.
While I’m a psychologist by training, in this role, I serve as your coach. I’ll guide you in exploring and selecting the right providers to ensure you’re supported every step of the way.
Why does this matter? Achieving this level of emotional resolution is the key to unlocking Post-Traumatic Growth (PTG)—a state where you can channel your experience into meaningful, positive changes in your life.
This isn’t just about healing; it’s about creating a foundation for Phase 3: Growth. Together, we’ll ensure you emerge not just stronger, but with a renewed sense of clarity and purpose.
Phase 3
After recovering, we’ll conduct a Life Analysis to help you reconnect with what you are, who you are, and what you’re doing. (Even more so than before your crisis.)
Because let’s be honest:
I’m guessing that deep down, you want to be a badass human – and the best you can be in every area of your business and life. This process systematically goes through the different areas of your life to see what you need to work on and what you don’t.
Here’s the good news:
Because you went through this crisis, you now have the potential to get even MORE connected with your life, who you are, and what you’re doing – than someone who hasn’t gone through a crisis.
This is where we transform your crisis into a “gift” (I know it might not feel like that right now, but just trust me on this). With the life analysis tools, we’ll set the foundation for you to recover and excel in ways you never thought possible.
So that you can take your business, life, and relationships to new levels.

I’m dedicated to working with clients I can truly help at the highest level. That’s why I personally review each application and get back to you within 24 hours, ensuring we’re set up for meaningful success together.
Kate is an incredibly direct communicator. She was able to cut through the fluff, get straight to the issue, AND start the process of weighing all possible solutions and potential outcomes.
I love how her extensive background and experiences in psychology, business, start-ups, tech businesses, HR management, sales, navigating crisis, and legal clusterf#$!ks informed but did not limit her in her advice.
She was first and foremost, an incredible listener AND an ethical and fair person who saw past my mistakes and never judged me. We worked through my “crisis” of having marital issues following an affair I had. Although my marriage still ended in divorce, it was amicable and truly for the best.
My ex-wife and I have a great co-parenting relationship, which was not a foregone conclusion. And the time I spend with my kids is so much more meaningful and fun. I legit look forward to my time with them—since Kate told me this would be anonymous, I’ll admit that I previously viewed spending time with my kids as a distraction from my work.
I credit Kate with not only pulling me out of my own personal hell of guilt, shame, and uncertainty, but with helping me figure myself out and what I want.
This has helped me lean into new business ideas and opportunities I would never even had thought about.
I’m out on the dating scene which is awkward, but I’m figuring out the types of people I actually want to spend time with. Overall, I’m excited about the direction my life is headed.
Anything that scares the shit out of you and demands immediate decisions and actions.
For sure—I work with anyone looking to build resilience, make strategic decisions, and take control of their personal or professional life. Even if you’re not currently in a crisis, it’s unlikely you’ve never faced one or won’t face one in the future.
The same rules apply:
You need to start with clarity, a plan, and the right tools to make sure you’re prepared to handle anything life throws your way.
Great observation! Yes, I’m passionate about crises because everyone faces them, yet even the most successful people often lack the tools to handle them effectively. For leaders—whether in business, their community, or their family—a mishandled crisis can have far-reaching consequences. It doesn’t just affect them; it ripples out to impact their families, employees, customers, and beyond.
By helping individuals manage crises strategically and efficiently, I can transform what would otherwise be a devastating situation into an opportunity for growth, learning, and hope—for my client and everyone connected to them.
After a crisis, many people are primed for post-traumatic growth (PTG)—a unique period where you’re positioned to accelerate personal and professional growth. However, achieving PTG isn’t automatic; it takes intention, strategy, and hard work. That’s where I come in.
This process doesn’t just stop at crisis recovery—it opens the door to meaningful personal development. The developmental psychologist in me simply can’t ignore it! I’m deeply committed to fostering growth throughout life because I believe it’s key to living a meaningful and fulfilled existence.
And here’s another truth: I love finding efficiencies. Using crisis as a catalyst for personal growth is one of the most efficient ways to create lasting, positive change, making it some of my most rewarding work.
